Report: Pistons sign Bynum, Sharpe

Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - The Detroit Pistons have reportedly signed free agent guard Will Bynum and second-round draft pick, forward Walter Sharpe, to two-year deals.

The Detroit News reported the deals on Wenesday.

Bynum's deal is for a reported $700,000 in the first year with a second-year term option. He has played in the NBA-Developmental League as well as overseas since 2005-06 when he appeared in 15 games with the Golden State Warriors.

Sharpe has appeared in all five summer league games for the Pistons averaging 8.8 points and 3.4 rebounds. The 32nd overall pick played collegiately at Alabama-Birmingham and Mississippi State before entering the draft.
