Preds ink Klein

Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - The Nashville Predators signed defenseman Kevin Klein to a two-year contract on Wednesday worth $1.3 million.

The 23-year-old has played in 18 NHL games in his career after being selected with the 37th pick in the 2003 Draft. With the Predators, he has posted a goal and two assists.

Klein, who played in 220 American Hockey League games, helped the Milwaukee Admirals reach the Calder Cup Finals in 2006.
