An impressive finish to the regular season labeled the Philadelphia Eagles as a team one would rather not face in the opening round of this year's playoffs. Recent history supports that suggestion as well.
With their hard-fought 26-14 victory over the Minnesota Vikings in last Sunday's NFC Wild Card Playoffs, the Eagles improved to 7-0 in their initial postseason game of a season under longtime head coach Andy Reid. Four of those wins have come in the Wild Card round.
